Refund policy

This refund policy applies to all services offered by Véronique Claparede (Claparede Design): website creation, consulting, maintenance, and associated services.
1. Nature of services
The services sold (website creation, consulting, maintenance, content & SEO) are tailor-made digital services and products, created according to the specific needs of each client. They do not constitute physical goods or standardized products.
2. No right to reimbursement
In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the provision of services fully performed or for digital content not provided on a tangible medium, the performance of which has begun with the customer's agreement. Consequently, no refund may be claimed once the work has started, regardless of its stage of completion. As each service is customized, it can neither be resold nor reused for another customer.
3. Payment terms
Unless otherwise agreed in the quote, payment for services is made in two installments: 50% of the total amount upon ordering, before work begins, and the remaining 50% upon delivery, i.e., when the files are sent or the website goes online. The final online launch or delivery will only take place once the remaining balance has been received.
4. Project cancellation in progress
In the event of cancellation of the project by the client after work has begun, the 50% deposit paid upon ordering is non-refundable and will be retained, as it covers the time already dedicated to the project. Any additional services already performed at the time of cancellation will remain due.
